International Baccalaureate Diploma   

Since 2007 we have offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme alongside A and AS levels.  This rigorous two-year diploma programme builds caring, lifelong learners, leading to a qualification valued by universities in the UK and all over the world.

The IBDP seeks to cultivate open-minded and informed young people, with the overall aim that students will strive to be:

Pupils follow a broad curriculum, studying six subjects across a range of academic areas, ensuring a well-rounded and comprehensive education.  We offer a selection of subjects, which allows students to follow a balanced curriculum while studying the subjects they love.

Building independent research skills and developing thinking abilities, in addition to developing links with the local community and promoting international understanding, are also central to the IBDP.  Students learn to collaborate with others while applying their education to the world around them, gaining invaluable skills and experience to take on the challenges of the 21st century.
