We think that our school is a very special place. There are around 250 children in the school and our 40 staff are able to offer a  broad curriculum, a vast range of extra curricular activities and outstanding pastoral care and support.  It is an immensely busy and vibrant school where the happiness and progress of every child is an absolute priority. This is an inclusive place where we want every child to feel encouraged, confident and at home. We want all our pupils to develop strong roots that will help them grow into happy, well balanced and responsible adults; we value the individual and we hope that all our pupils learn to be proud of themselves, their abilities and their individuality. We also make sure that children have plenty of time to be children and that play, fun and laughter feature strongly in their lives.
 

About a quarter of our boys and girls are boarders. They are free to go home at the weekend from 4.00 pm on Saturday and may return either on Sunday evening or Monday morning. A number of children stay at school at the weekend and there are plenty of exciting trips and adventures organised. Many day children board flexibly one, two or three nights a week and love having a chance to enjoy boarding life.
