Gresham's to visit China

Gresham's is delighted to announce that it will be organising a 12 day School trip to China this year.

China’s emergence as a superpower will be one of the major themes impacting people over the coming decade. China owes a large part of its success to its pupil's strength in Mathematics, learning and teaching, as well as a high level of aspiration amongst its students.

Gresham’s is very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to visit such an interesting and fascinating country and sample what life is like in the world's fastest growing economy.

This trip will be open to Fifth and Lower Sixth Form students intending to or currently studying Chinese, as well as Sixth Form and potential Fifth Form A-level Maths students.

The School organisers anticipate a high level of demand for places on this trip, and if you are interested in your son or daughter taking part, please complete the form which has been sent to all eligible families and return to Mrs Fiona Read, Head of Mathematics by Monday, 30 January.

As places are limited, the trip will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Once responses have been received, a presentation evening will be given by Mrs Anne Martin, travel expert on China who will be avilable to provide further details on what to expect from the trip as well as providing an opportunity to ask questions.  To view the proposed itinerary please click here.
