Archives
Our public Archive was established in 2005 as a part of the school's 450th anniversary celebrations. Since then, our Archivist Liz Larby has been working hard to build up a collection of documents, photographs and other objects which tie into the school's long history.
Our assorted works now includes a photo collection dating back to the 19th century, nearly a century's worth of both The Gresham and The Grasshopper magazines, a school register from 1858 and numerous articles and press cuttings about OGs. Account books, prizes and medals, pupil diaries and books by or about alumni and staff also form a principle part of our Archive.
Situated in the historic building of Howson's, the collection provides an extremely valuable resource for answering enquiries, collating informational displays and for researchers seeking historical source materials.
For a brief history of Gresham's, please visit our School History page.
