Boarding
Approximately one quarter of our pupils are boarders, and we offer both full and flexible options, catering to the needs of individual children and families. We hope that all our boarders feel secure and free from anxiety, and we aim to ensure that as well as having plenty of fun and forming lasting friendships, they learn to live happily with others and become increasingly responsible for themselves.
Our dedicated House staff ensure that each child is well supported and cared for. We have two Houses; girls are welcomed into Crossways House and boys into Kenwyn House. Each House has resident Houseparents and two Matrons, all of whom take personal responsibility for each child’s wellbeing and happiness. House staff maintain friendly and caring relationships with children, ensuring that every child receives the guidance and support they need.
Flexible boarding is a popular option, allowing children to sample boarding life while remaining very close to the family home. Many of our flexible boarders spend several nights a week at school and they enjoy the chance to be part of our happy boarding community.
