Hobbies

We offer a wide range of hobbies which children can pursue between 6.15 and 7.15 four nights a week.  Undertaking a hobby can build confidence and self-belief as well as offering plenty of opportunity for fun!

We offer as many hobbies as possible, providing children with a wealth of opportunities to pursue their interests or try something new.  On the sporting side, we offer everything from football and tennis to taekwando, shooting and fencing.  Popular options for the more creative minded are jewellery making, dance and drama and working on the School Magazine or Newspaper.

Children who pursue hobbies often have the opportunity to compete in interschool events, participate in concerts and festivals and attend field trips, developing their abilities and building team spirit in a fun environment.   Every August we take a production to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of our Hobbies Programme and we have received excellent reviews for our performances.
