Hobbies
Our hobbies programme is an important supplement to our curriculum, allowing students to pursue new skills and face new challenges in a fun and friendly environment.
All pupils take up a hobby of their choice, and one hour per week is devoted to practicing these activities. A range of options is available, with sporting choices ranging from riding to trampolining to basketball, arts options such as creative writing and Greek, and a wide selection of other activities such as boatworks, bridge and Climate Change Action Group.
We believe that undertaking a hobby can build self-confidence, develop teamworking abilities and provide an important outlet for fun and creativity, while potentially nurturing budding talents and fostering lifelong pastimes.
We are always looking to broaden our already comprehensive selection of hobbies, and strive to continually offer fresh opportunities and pursuits.
