Community Service
Students who choose not to join our Combined Cadet Force participate in our community outreach scheme, which allows students to put something back into the local community while undertaking responsibilities and developing leadership skills.
We offer a range of opportunities in this area: volunteering as a classroom assistant or sports assistant at local prep schools is a popular option, as are working with local charities, retirement homes and conservation programmes.
Equally important is our charity fundraising programme. We have a long history of supporting charitable causes locally, nationally and internationally, and our charity committee meets regularly to consider various appeals and to plan future events. In recent years we have supported a wide range of causes, from Great Ormond Street Hospital to a Romanian orphanage.
