Space to thrive
Gresham’s is a vibrant and supportive boarding and day school in North Norfolk.
The school is based on an outstanding 200 acre site, surrounded by rolling countryside and only 4 miles from an award-winning, North Norfolk coastline. Founded in 1555, Gresham’s provides a high-quality, fully-rounded education to boys and girls from the age of two to Sixth Form. Supported by staff with a real concern for their wellbeing, our pupils have the time and space to develop into well-rounded, confident individuals.

A Gresham’s Education
At every level, we offer a curriculum which is versatile, stimulating and enriching. Our goal is to help each pupil reach their own potential, as well as helping them to develop skills that will be invaluable in lifelong learning.
The Dyson Building
Sir James Dyson, Founder of Dyson and Gresham’s alumnus, has donated £19 million to Gresham’s to enable a new centre for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education. The building will provide space to explore, create, innovate and discover.
Old Greshamians have been inspiring others for generations, from composer Sir Benjamin Britten and poet W.H. Auden to the founder of the Dyson Company, Sir James Dyson. More recently, Old Greshamians creating headlines include international rugby players Tom and Ben Youngs and Academy Award winning actor Olivia Colman.
When asked if there were any drawbacks to Gresham’s life, one pupil mused that ‘there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to do all that is on offer’.
