6 A level Music pupils have begun an exciting project under the tutelage of Stephen Hussey, MD for Urban Soul Orchestra.

An exciting collaboration between Gresham’s, Norfolk Music hub and Urban Soul Orchestra sees the pupils work with their own choice of repertoire from the Classic Ibiza set list and orchestrate for musicians across Norfolk. The arrangements will be completed by the end of the Lent Term, to prepare for performance workshops starting in Summer Term. A real-life project with pupils exploring the links between dance music and standard orchestrations, DAW (Logic) and preparing scores for performance.

The performance will take place with Urban Soul Orchestra, Gresham’s Musicians, and pupils from across the county in our Theatre in the Woods in June 2022.
