Congratulations to Year 12 pupils Archie K and Kate W for their joint win of the Year 11 Other Tongue prize in Mother Tongue Other Tongue Celebration Event which took place on Wednesday 31st March, presented by Slam Poet Champion, Joelle Taylor

In October 2020, a number of our pupils were shortlisted for the finals of the Mother Tongue Other Tongue competition, originally devised by staff at the Faculty of Humanities, Languages and Social Science at Manchester Metropolitan University and Routes into Languages North West in 2012.

Johanna-Franziska H was shortlisted for the Year 12 Mother Tongue prize whilst Phoebe C and Danny W were shortlisted for the Year 9 Other Tongue prize and Anna F and Kate W were shortlisted for the Year 12 Other Tongue prize.
