Grimms Tales led Year 9 to the Auden stage with adaptations of Little Red Cap, Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin and Ashputtel. The pupils relished the opportunity to perform to a ‘live’ audience of their peers. The production began during lockdown and pupils auditioned online by submitting their audition tapes and then began rehearsals online via video call. We then got straight into rehearsals in person when returning to school for the Summer Term. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the whole cast of actors and the sound technician Chloe-Leila Grey and Mrs Futter looks forward to working with them all again on future productions.
