Year 5 waterwheel project

A team of Year 5 children embarked on a waterwheel project to explore alternative energy sources.  They each built an individual waterwheel from plywood, pine and re-purposed milk bottle tops.  The project culminated in a 5-storey working waterwheel tower built onto the side of the Butterwick Centre.  The waterwheel tower can be seen in operation until the end of the summer term.
