Enterprising Year 6 Prep School pupils have hosted a table top fete to help raise money for the humanitarian crisis in East Africa.
The pupils, during their Personal Social Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) session, got creative and set up a team of stalls ranging from ‘guess the baby photo’ to ‘flip the pancake’. The stalls kept the juniors busy and there was tremendous spirit amongst the Year 6 pupils in praise of the efforts of those in Years 3, 4 and 5.
In a truly engaging twenty minutes, the Year 6 pupils managed to raise £74.79, which will be donated to the Red Cross.
Mrs Quick said: “I was very proud of all our pupils for the positive way in which they responded to this challenge, they are all very keen to make it an annual event”.
