On Monday 20th, Alex Paske, OG (E 2004 – 08) and Head of School, cycled between her Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Schools – a total of 121 miles – to raise awareness for the Mintridge Foundation
Alex established the Foundation when she was aged 24. It provides a support and mentoring network for young people through sport. Alex, who is passionate about giving young people equal sporting opportunities, was awarded the Women of the Future Sport Award for her work in 2017. Mintridge has positively impacted on the lives of over 30,000 young people in schools and sports clubs across the UK so far.
Several OGs and staff supported Alex on her ride, meeting her near St Ives, Cambridgeshire and accompanied her for the remaining miles back to Gresham’s. They arrived back at 10.30pm after a very long day. Alex was back in School bright and early the next morning for roll-call and to meet current pupils and staff.
