Rounders is one of the main sport for girls in the Summer Term. All the girls from Year 4 to Year 8 play the sport, with the Year 3 girls joining us twice a week.
There are three pitches at the Prep School and we have the use of five pitches at the Senior School.
Rounders fixtures are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Block fixtures involving up to nine teams ensure that a large number of girls have the opportunity to represent the School at a wide range of levels, from Under 8 to Under 13A. The matches are played in a competitive manner with a large emphasis on a good standard of sport and a good standard of sportsmanship and the element of enjoyment.
We play a range of opponents including local schools as well as many teams further afield. These include: Beeston Hall School, Culford, Glebe House School, King’s Ely, Langley, Magdelene House, Norwich High School for Girls, Norwich School, Taverham Hall, Town Close and Wisbech Grammar School.
We have committed and dedicated staff, who share their knowledge and expertise where each team has its own coach throughout the season.
