Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) is a well-established programme at the school where pupils receive one lesson of PSHE per week delivered by their tutor.
PSHE aims to provide children with the skills, qualities and knowledge to help them manage their lives at school and in the future and to develop attributes required to thrive as individuals and as members of society.
Moral and spiritual issues are also addressed in assemblies, tutor groups and Religious Studies lessons.

A variety of issues are discussed during these lessons and pupils are encouraged to share ideas and to participate in discussions in a social and non-formal setting.
In addition, pupils get the opportunity to learn about the different charities the school supports and, on a regular basis, to investigate current affairs through the weekly online quiz, BBC websites and newspapers in the school library.
Internet safety is also discussed at an appropriate level.
