The Parents’ Association organises social events for parents such as the Autumn Drinks party, the Christmas Fayre, Quiz Night, Jazz Night and the Summer Hog Roast. Its main purpose is social, but it has managed to raise considerable funds over the years which have been used to improve the school facilities. A mini bus, a dance floor, a nature garden, table tennis tables, playground apparatus and most recently an extension to the school library have all been funded by the Parents’ Association.
New members are always welcome; the Parents’ Association depends on the energy, commitment and initiative of parents and we would like as many people to be involved as possible. Meetings are generally held once a month directly after Chapel in the Kenwyn Meetings’ Room, next to the Dining Room. Please come along; we have plenty of fun as well as working hard for the school. It is also a great way to meet other parents.
