Pupils are celebrating LGBT History Month 2022

Pupils are celebrating LGBT History Month 2022 with a variety of activities and displays. They have been watching films which educate them about key concepts in the LGBT+ community such as gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. House displays focus upon famous LGBT+ people such as Alan Turing, Oscar Wilde and Nicola Adams, their challenges and achievements. In art, pupils are being invited to design a new LGBT+ badge for 2023 and classroom debates will ask the questions: How Can Schools Support LGBT+ Teachers and Pupils to Be Themselves? and Are LGBT+ People Well-Represented In the Media?
