Pupils have celebrated the Chinese Mid-Autumn festival
6 October 2021

Pupils who are studying Mandarin Chinese had a great time celebrating the Chinese mid-autumn festival on Thursday 21st September. Well done to Year 9 pupils Tobias and Sidney who made their own moon cakes to share with their Mandarin class. A moon cake is a Chinese bakery product which is traditionally eaten during the festival. A special thanks goes to Mrs Wang, a parent from our Prep School, who kindly helped our pupils bake the authentic delicacy.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity in our school and the group are already looking forward to next year’s celebration!
