The bass beats, a glimpse of the stage through dappled light and the audience making their way across the fields all contributed to the collective anticipation and excitement of the 10th Pop Concert, held this year in the Theatre in the Woods under the new and impressive canopy and stage set up. To be welcomed by the sounds of smokey.t set us all up for an evening of incredible contributions from our young musicians. This was, in part, a celebration of the last 16 months of making music online with the House band, and to finally perform a live audience was reward itself. Ranging from Stevie Wonder and Jocelyn Brown to Oasis and AC/DC, over 50 pupils, some seasoned performers and many debuts-sang, danced and played the eclectic set list to rapturous applause.
