Gresham’s is very fortunate to be located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We enjoy beautiful countryside and unique wildlife and are just four miles from the spectacular, award-winning north Norfolk coast.

We have a full and busy co-curricular timetable for the pupils at Gresham’s. From the moment pupils join the School in Year 9 there are a huge amount of opportunities on offer to get involved in and pupils benefit from a superb all-round education. We have excellent sporting facilities on the campus and pupils can represent their School and House in fixtures in all sports across the year. The Auden Theatre and Britten Building occupy enviable locations on the School site and provide first class opportunities in both Drama and Music. Pupils develop life-long skills through membership of the Combined Cadet Force and can participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from Bronze to Gold Level. We have thriving links with the local community where a number of projects are currently underway, our School Charity this year is the Treehouse in Holt which supports the local community and families. We have an enriching programme of extra-curricular activities through our GAPs programme (Gresham’s Activity Programme) and pupils can explore new opportunities and learn new skills. Pupils in Year 9 undertake a “Survival Skills” course with our own Head of Adventure and all pupils have access to the wonderful Woodland Activity Centre which has its own purpose built learning hut, assault course, high and low ropes course, climbing wall and zip wire. When possible we enjoy travelling overseas with recent trips to Sri Lanka for cricket and netball and to Kenya for our own environmental conservation project in the Maasai Mara.

We truly believe that pupils here at Gresham’s have a wealth of opportunities to get involved in and that these help us offer a broad, varied and wonderful education.

“Life here is full, but not frantic.”
