Making a Gift in your Will

Leaving a legacy to Gresham’s is one of the most important and lasting gifts that you can make.

The School understands that in your will your principle responsibility is to provide for your family. Having done this, we hope that you may consider giving a legacy to Gresham’s. It is an opportunity to support the school which you may have felt unable to do in your life time. Leaving a legacy is simple and tax efficient. Any gift you leave to the School is free from inheritance tax. There are various types of legacy. It is best that you ask your solicitor to explain these. If you already have a will, you can complete a brief codicil adding this gift to your will.

You may like your legacy to be used for a specific purpose or to support the School’s development where it is most needed. We appreciate that the gift of a legacy is very personal and that you may choose not to disclose this information to us. Our  Legacy Intention Form is available to download.
