The Library’s House Read & Review Challenge was a great success

The Library ran a Read & Review competition last term, with pupils and staff sharing mini reviews of recommended reads in order to win merits and prizes. Hundreds of submissions were made, covering a range of reading material from classics to contemporary, dystopian to environmentalism, historical fiction to sport, farming to fantasy, and everything in between! The house submitting the greatest number of reviews and thereby overall winner of the contest was Queens’, with Woodlands as runners up and Oakeley in third place. Pupils who composed excellent reviews received prizes in recognition, with the reviews themselves added to the library catalogue in order to share worthy recommendations with the school community.
