U14A Cricket team win T20 game by 169 runs

The Under 14A team travelled to Langley School on Thursday 20th May for a T20 game. The weather was not ideal for cricket with rain and high winds, however every effort was made to play the game. We batted first and scored a mammoth 194-2 off their 20 overs. Rory R (F), 68 retired and Hector L (F), 52 retired were the batting highlights. With the ball we were devastating, all 6 bowlers bowled very tightly and extremely well, bowling out Langley for 25! The pick of the bowlers was Alex M (H) who took 3 wickets for 1 run off his 3 overs. We won the game by 169 runs. It was an excellent all-round performance from the team and it is excellent to see the pupils improving with each week.
