Wild cooking and team building for Year 9 pupils

The boys in Woodlands House demonstrated excellent teamwork skills as part of our Year 9 Survival Course.

This week, the boys worked well to forage for fire material, prepare kindling and build the fire. Under the watchful eye of Mr Liberman, they then cooked pheasant breasts for a tasty snack before hockey!

All year 9 pupils are given the opportunity to take part in the Survival Course based in the woods on our Senior School site. The course is intended to hone interpersonal and life skills such as team building, leadership, resilience, and self-confidence, and will encourage pupils to care about the outdoors and their local environment.
