It has long been the plan for the Music Department to have its own record label to channel the large output of music created by several of our talented pupils. The aim is to develop and promote young artists. Strathmore Music will have a proper launch in September but on Wednesday 15th June, friends and staff celebrated the launch of the label’s first EP; 4 tracks written and produced by Year 12 pupil Linda T with the assistance of Mr Cooper and Mr Myers. As well as the music, Linda provided the artwork for the sleeve. It was a well-supported and fun evening in the Cairns Centre and Linda’s music can be found on all main digital music platforms.
