Year 12 Spanish pupils have been practising their translation skills. They are entering the “Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators” which is organised by Queen’s College, Oxford. The competition is inspired by the life and work of the great translator Anthea Bell and encourages pupils to produce translations where they can achieve a balance between creativity and accuracy. Their entries have been submitted and we wait to see if they have qualified from the East Region through to the Nationals!
