Year 9 pupils take on survival skills challenge
22 March 2021

Our Year 9 Tallis and Edinburgh pupils have been working on their survival skills this term. They have been taught how to safely use a knife, saw and axe to prepare wood for fire building. In order to further their skills, they have now moved on to building fires and shelters. This is a continuation of the course designed by Mr Majid, Head of Adventure, and is intended to hone interpersonal and life skills. Tallis and Edinburgh pupils follow in the path of Farfield, Howson’s and Queens’ pupils who completed the course before Christmas. Click here to read more about their experience.
