A look back at a summer of cricket success
28 October 2026

As the new academic year gets underway, we’re looking back at some of the exciting achievements of our Senior School pupils over the summer holidays. From outstanding individual performances to opportunities to develop their skills at county and regional level, our school cricketers had a busy and hugely successful break.
JC continued his excellent season after the school games had finished, playing for Horsford in the East Anglian Premier League. He scored 424 runs at an average of 53, including a century that made him the youngest player in the league’s history to score a hundred.
He also represented the Northants Academy, scoring 565 runs at an average of 33, including two centuries. His performances earned him an invitation to play for Northants 2nd XI, where he scored his maiden half-century, and an opportunity to train with Northants 1st XI.
Charlie was selected for Norfolk U18 this summer and scored a century in one innings, capping off a strong season following his performances at school.
Theo was selected for this year’s prestigious Bunbury Festival, where he played in three matches for the London & East team. He took five wickets during the festival and benefited from the experience and advice of the coaches.
Oli C represented Norfolk this summer, scoring more than 500 runs at an average of 36. The highlight of his summer was scoring a massive 155 not out against Suffolk. He has also been invited to attend the Northants Emerging Players Programme.
Georgia D represented Norfolk U18 and Norfolk Women in the ECB leagues this summer, scoring 477 runs at an average of 28. She also made an impact with the ball, taking 15 wickets.
Georgia was also part of the successful Old Buckenham Women’s team that won the Iceni Premier League this summer.
Sophia represented Norfolk this summer and enjoyed an excellent season with both bat and ball. She scored 785 runs at an average of 39, including eight half-centuries, and took 23 wickets.
Tilly represented Norfolk at U16, U18 and women’s level this summer, scoring 402 runs at an average of 23. Her highest score was 66 not out, and her performances attracted the attention of Essex, who have invited her to trials.
She was also a key member of the Old Buckenham Women’s team that won the Iceni Premier League.
Congratulations to all our pupils on their achievements this summer.
