About us

Welcome to Gresham’s, a historic and vibrant co-educational school where we bring out the best in each other.

We provide a high quality, fully rounded education to boys and girls from the age of three in our Nursery and Pre-Prep to Sixth Form students, from across the UK and overseas, and the breadth and diversity of our school community make for a happy, warm and supportive learning environment. Here, young people are prepared for rewarding personal and professional lives with the intellectual, personal and social qualities and skills needed to make a positive difference to the communities in which they live. They represent the school and what it stands for and we are immensely proud of their enthusiasm, commitment and generosity towards each other.

“Hard to think who would not thrive in this happy, well-run school.”

The Good Schools Guide

A progressive curriculum

Our progressive academic curriculum, high quality teaching and excellent facilities support every pupil’s learning journey throughout the school. Classroom learning is complemented by a variety of academic societies and clubs as well as our ever-popular field trips that engender a wider, outward focus. Outside the classroom, pupils enjoy seemingly unlimited opportunities to participate in an exciting range of co-curricular sports, arts and music activities along with adventurous expeditions and community-based service. Whilst we can boast first class academic achievements, the academic success and personal development of all pupils at all levels gives us the greatest sense of fulfilment and reward.

Outstanding alumni

With a long history of sporting and musical success which has produced many outstanding alumni in the fields of sport, science and the arts, the School is well placed to support and nurture young talent.

Beautiful Holt

For those unfamiliar with our location in beautiful north Norfolk, the best advice we can offer is to come and see it for yourselves. We are fortunate to benefit from extensive and spacious grounds in the pretty Georgian market town of Holt, just four miles from the coast and twenty-three miles from the fine city of Norwich with its historical attractions and national and international transport links.
