STEAM EDUCATION
The Dyson Building opened at Gresham’s Senior School in September 2021. Sir James Dyson, a former pupil at the school, enabled the innovative new centre for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education.

Gresham’s has a tradition of producing outstanding achievers in all walks of life, from architecture and the arts to engineering, sports and beyond.
Old Greshamians continue to inspire with notable figures such as composer Benjamin Britten, poet WH Auden, abstract painter Ben Nicholson, director Stephen Frears, entrepreneur and inventor Sir James Dyson, international rugby players Tom and Ben Youngs and Academy Award-winning actor Olivia Colman.
SPORT
Sport is an integral part of life at Gresham’s. We prioritise developing healthy and committed team players who understand the value of collaboration, leadership and dedication. We are proud to have England’s most-capped men’s rugby player and alumnus, Ben Youngs, as our Head of Performance sport, leading our Talented Athlete Development (TAD) programme.
THE DYSON CAMPUS
Opening September 2027, Gresham’s Prep School is relocating to its brand-new home on the Dyson Campus, made possible by a generous £40 million donation from the James Dyson Foundation. Nestled in 86 acres of ancient woodland and lakes, the development will offer a state-of-the-art learning environment, blending tradition and nature with innovation, future-proof facilities.
