The first Music and Munch of the Lent Term

News > The first Music and Munch of the Lent Term

The first Music and Munch of the Lent Term took place on Friday 4 February and was a vocal special.  A packed Tig’s Café was treated to a selection of songs from classical and contemporary repertoire, including Handel’s Where’er you Walk, None but the lonely heart by Tchaikovsky, a nod to the world of the Musicals with She used to be mine from Waitress and A bit of Earth from The Secret Garden.  A firm favourite Blue Moon and Jazz standard All of Me completed the lunchtime concert programme.

Our next Music and Munch is on Friday 4 March and will be a strings special.  All are welcome to join us from 12.50pm for a light sandwich lunch and another selection of fine performances.
