At the heart of our approach is a simple but powerful aim: we want children to love learning. We encourage them to work hard, develop a deep understanding across a broad range of subjects, and fulfil their individual potential.
While we value academic excellence, we never lose sight of the wonder and joy of childhood. Play, exploration, and imagination are central to all we do.
Curriculum
We believe that happy children are successful learners. In the Pre-Prep children settle quickly into a happy school routine and develop a positive and interactive approach to learning.
Their days are filled with stimulating activities within a school environment which is able to take advantage of all the facilities of the Prep and Senior Schools. As well as developing maths and reading skills, children are exposed to a range of languages which include Mandarin and Italian.
Co-curricular
Our co-curricular activities provide children with a wealth of opportunities to pursue their interests or try something new.
We aim to help children increase their confidence and self-belief while cultivating new abilities which may develop into lifelong skills and interests and which encourage them to take on new challenges.
Pastoral care
At Gresham’s Nursery and Pre-Prep we pride ourselves on providing a happy, secure and nurturing environment for all our children.
The class teachers are responsible for the pastoral care of the children in their class and in the Nursery each child has a Key Worker who oversees the needs of the child and liaises with parents.
School Life
Our Nursery and Pre-Prep provides a broad curriculum and a huge range of after school activities which provide every child with a range of exciting hobbies to try.
We provide wrap around care for children from 8:00am until 5:30pm (5:00pm on a Wednesday).
