Pupils recognised at the Norfolk Youth Cricket Awards 2026

At the recent Norfolk Cricket Foundation Annual Youth Cricket Awards, six Gresham’s pupils were recognised for their outstanding performances and achievements during the 2026 cricket season outside of school.

Sophia S was awarded the Friends of Norfolk Youth Cricket Girls’ Player of the Year trophy in recognition of her exceptional performances with both bat and ball this season. She was also presented with her County Cap following a series of outstanding performances.

Oli C received the coveted Maurice Sills Boys’ Player of the Year award in recognition of his dedication, hard work and achievements throughout the season. Lotty D and Tallula C were also awarded County Caps in recognition of their outstanding performances for Norfolk over the past few seasons.

Following a summer to remember at Gresham’s, Thomas H was presented with his County Cap in recognition of his outstanding performances for Norfolk over the past few seasons.

Finally, JC M received the Louis Brooks Memorial Trophy, the highest accolade awarded to a Norfolk player, in recognition of his tremendous season with the bat. This prestigious award caps a spectacular year for JC and reflects the hard work he has shown with his cricket, both at school and beyond.

Gresham’s is incredibly proud of all six pupils and their outstanding achievements this season. We look forward to seeing them back in action next year as they continue to develop their talents and build on this year’s success. Well done all!
