Scholars and Choirs concert showcases musical talent

16 October 2026

Music at Gresham’s continues to thrive. At the end of September, our Scholars and Choirs concert in Chapel gave us a snapshot of the next generation of musicians at Gresham’s.

The programme included choral performances by Schola Cantorum and Chapel Choir, alongside a series of exceptional soloists. Evie M performed Gabriel Fauré’s 2nd Impromptu on piano. Vocal soloists included Edie C, Hennie D, Ilana B, Scarlett H and Reuben L-S. George R-L performed his own composition, while Lily D played a sonata in E-flat on clarinet. Hansen W performed Student Concerto No. 5 on violin, and Sophie D (violin) and Lucy D (viola) gave a spectacular performance of an Intermezzo by Pietro Mascagni.

A huge congratulations to all those who performed, it was a truly inspirational evening.
