Sixth Form at Gresham’s School

Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside just four miles from the breathtaking North Norfolk coast, Gresham’s School offers a wide range of qualifications and an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities. Predominantly a boarding school, Gresham’s opened its first house for day pupils in September 2023.

Sixth Formers at Gresham’s can choose to follow the IB Diploma, three A level subjects, or replace one or two A levels with BTEC diplomas in either Agriculture, Business, Digital Music Production or Sport. All routes provide a rigorous academic background opening up a wide range of university options and career pathways. Central to the offering of a wide range of qualifications is a personalised education where pupils can choose what is best for them.

CO-CURRICULAR

We firmly believe in an all-round education where academic pursuits are supported by co-curricular opportunities. Our wide ranging programme of drama, music, sport, art, Duke Of Edinburgh, CCF, societies, events, trips and community outreach allows pupils to find their passion and develop skills that will serve them well through life.

PASTORAL CARE

The school prides itself on its excellent pastoral care which underpins the full character education provided to all our pupils. All pupils belong to a house, we have seven boarding houses and one day house. Each house has its own unique style and character and provides a warm and welcoming environment.

OUTSTANDING LOCATION

We are fortunate to benefit from spacious grounds just outside the Georgian town of Holt in North Norfolk. We have a beautiful 200 acre campus with outstanding facilities just four miles from an award-winning coastline.

COME AND VISIT US

We have two Open Mornings each year, one in May and one in October. These are on a Saturday and are a good opportunity to talk to teachers and pupils and see all the school has to offer. Alternatively you can arrange an individual visit and get a feel for the school on a normal working day.
